Lisa's Voice

As some of you may already know, my mother passed away on August 13th after a 2 1/2 year struggle with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease). It is a very devastating disease and there is no cure, not even any effective treatments.

On October 3rd my family along with many of our friends participated in the Kern County Walk to Defeat ALS. Our team raised over $5,000, and the entire walk raised over $60,000! We hope to walk again next year, once we have our walk page organized I will post a link to it.
